LaBabuch is a project created in 2019 by Israel Ariño and Clara Gassull Quer. Soon after, they were joined in the project by Chiara Capodici, who helps organise and host the workshops, and Laura Covarsí, who provides support for the creative residencies programme. In the LaBabuch workshops and residencies they have found a shared space to support people in their creative search or development, giving them a place and the quality time they need to work on their projects.

Clara Gassull Quer works in visual creation and artistic mediation and education. She uses photography, with or without a camera, and is particularly interested in light as the root of all images. She also expresses herself through drawing, sculpture, installations, video and other experimental techniques. In addition to her artistic endeavours, she works on educational and mediation projects with art spaces, museums, schools and cultural centres.
